Retired Georgia State Patrol Captain and Troop Commander

Grady County Administrator

TN-Bleu Conglomerate Lead Instructor and Consultant

        Buddy is a retired Georgia State Patrol Captain and Troop Commander and is currently serving as the County Administrator for Grady County Georgia as well as a lead instructor and consultant for TN-Bleu Conglomerate, a family owned business. 


        Born and raised just above the Florida line in Valdosta Georgia, Buddy began his career with the Georgia State Patrol as a radio dispatcher right after high school in 1990. He became a Trooper in 1994 and was relocated to the Southwest corner of the State in Donalsonville Georgia. 

Buddy later became a Nationally certified vehicle homicide investigation expert in 1997 and was assigned to the Inaugural Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team. His Statewide team of 20 Investigated over 1500 fatal crashes in a three-year period successfully prosecuting over 200 felony cases that arose from those fatality crashes. Buddy rose through the ranks from Corporal to Post Commander and then to the Executive ranks to Troop Commander and Captain for the Southwest Georgia Region of the Department. He Served as the State of Georgia GSP Incident Commander for all major events from numerous weather-related disasters to the “BLM” (Black lives matter) rally’s in Atlanta. 


        Buddy Attended the 244th session of the FBI National Academy. Afterward he was appointed by Governor Nathen Deal to serve as the Chairman for his local failing Board of Education and was tasked with the responsibility of restructuring the governance of his hometown school board and system. Later he was voter elected to that position and served a successful full term without seeking reelection. 


        Buddy also taught part time at Bainbridge College in the Criminal Justice field for five years before Retiring in April 2017 from the Georgia Department of Public Safety. He and his wife started a consulting business “TNBLEU Conglomerate” which specializes in many aspects of leadership and training in public safety, business administration, resiliency, entertainment, and public speaking. He was asked in 2018 to take on a role for neighboring Grady County as the County Administrator which oversees all administration assigned to the Commissioners. He has served in that role to date.


        Buddy’s greatest love is being able to Serve the FBINAA as a Master Resilience Lead Instructor and has instructed over 20 Train the Trainer Courses throughout the US and now into Canada. His passion in the field of Resiliency and his understanding of the need for standard training nationwide for all public safety branches has been his focus for the last three years. 

Buddy resides in Colquitt Georgia with his wife Tracy, two daughters Courtney and Jaycie and son Alex.
