William "bill" Mazur

Strategic Account Manager and 

Public Safety Liaison

        William “Bill” Mazur is a 25-year law enforcement veteran and retired from his former department in 2017 at the rank of Deputy Chief of Police.  


        Bill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Stockton University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Training and Development in the Police Graduate Studies Program from Seton Hall University. He also completed the N.J. State Association of Chiefs of Police Leadership Exchange Program at the College of Policing in the United Kingdom. 


        Bill is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session #256, and currently serves as a Master Instructor with the FBI National Academy Associates in their Comprehensive Officer Resilience Program.  


        Bill now works for Acadia Healthcare as a Strategic Account Manager and Public Safety Liaison with the Treatment Placement Specialists® Initiative, which provides specialized treatment guidance for public safety personnel, first responders and their families who may find themselves in a personal crisis as a result of a mental health issue or substance use disorder.
